Runescape classic was re-opened to all members to play, but you had to play it within a 2 week period. The 2 weeks are up but it doesn't mean you won't ever get to play RSC if you didn't play during the 2 week re-opening. They give new (p2p) players a chance to join it for a 2 week period every 6 months or so (exact dated not yet released). Also they are not sure if they are going to let players run their own Runescape Classic servers (that allow people to spawn items).
